You are invited to the Florida Corgi Picnic!

Thank you all for coming to this year's "2009 Florida Corgi Picnic. It certainly turned out to be a GREAT success! We had 255 Humans and 175 Corgis. We collected $100 for Sunshine Corgi Rescue and $3050 to CorgiAid.  We have already reserved Paradise Luxury Pet Estate for next year for the 2010 Annual Florida Corgi Picnic, so mark your Corgi calendars for Saturday, November 13, 2010. I am hoping we can make next year into an even larger, greater success.
 
We want to thank our volunteers for this year.
Vickie and Joe, I couldn't have done this without all the help and advice you gave to me. I certainly kept you busy and sometimes a bit confused with the spreadsheet. I am thrilled this didn't scare you off for next year.
Thank you to Sue Kain for donating many of the raffle prizes and helping to sell tickets. We're sure all the winners were very happy with those nice prizes.
I include my gratitude to Deb, Ed  and Elizabeth for  helping with the lunch and
Pastor Chuck  for doing another great job with the auction.
As well as Cyndi for helping Pastor Chuck and Sue with the auction and raffle. Gary and Linda, you did an awesome job keeping track and taking the money for the auction.
Thank you Bruce Elrick of Elrick Video Ent. for doing our picnic video. As soon as I receive, I will share with everyone.
Jacki you out did yourself with the shirts and hats. Betty thank you for helping with shirts at picnic.
 
 I have quite a few shirts and hats left...they are $5 each,  any size..let me know if interested.

 I am always open to suggestions for next year, so if you have any,  please send to me. We have already started the planning for next year. If you'd like to volunteer to help us,  we can use any and all volunteers.
 
 Well, you'll start hearing from us again around middle of 2010.

 The 2009 Florida Corgi Picnic  which benefits  CorgiAid will be held on 11/14/09 at the Paradise Luxury Pet Resort In Palm Bay, Florida from 11am to 4:30pm.

  Our goal is to continue to increase this picnic each year with attendance and donations to support CorgiAid.

We are also having an agility demonstration this year.

 What to bring???

*Everyone brings a Corgi or dog related item for the auction.

*Your Corgis or Corgi mixes(sorry, but we have to limit to Corgis only)

*Chairs and if you wish a canopy for shade

*Water bowl for dogs..we will have some buckets of water placed around. (One funny Corgi thought sitting in one was a wonderful idea).

*Money for the auction(checks can be made out to Corgi-Aid for items bought at auction)

*Money for the Fabulous Raffle! Check them out on Raffle Page! Or send in your money now and get some FREE tickets.

*If you'd like to bring a side dish/dessert to share we'd be delighted but not necessary.

*Be ready for a GREAT Time!

*Just want to mention that by coming to the picnic you agree we can use your picture if it happens to have been taken by someone at picnic for next years website. Thanks!
